William Golding's TJC Visit
Acclaimed British writer William Golding visited Singapore in 1988, and TJC was fortunate to be selected to host the Nobel Prize winner in a question-and-answer session. Today, our Integrated Programme Year 2 students study his arguably most famous text Lord of the Flies as part of their Language Arts curriculum. They are intrigued by the novel which delves into human nature, as they examine unforgettable characters like Ralph, Jack, Piggy and Simon.
